Dr. Neal L. Fenton D.D.S.
Dr. Neal Fenton enjoys his practice in family dentistry. He received his undergraduate degree at Weber State College in Ogden, Utah and his doctorate at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. He moved with his family to Craig, Colorado in July 1985 and began his dental practice. He stays abreast of new techniques and ideas through regular continuing education classes and workshops. Dr. Fenton was involved in starting the Northwest Dental Coalition and he has been involved in other activities and organizations in the community. He loves his work and feels like his patients and staff are friends. When not working at the office he enjoys a variety of other activities; including gardening, stamp collecting, vintage VW's, and camping with his family.
Debbie Cook RDH
My name is Debbie Cook. I grew up in Craig and in 1979 graduated from CNCC with a degree in Dental Hygiene. My first 5 years in DH I spent working in a large dental clinic with many Dentists and Dental Hygienists. I also worked for several Dentists in Craig and was a Clinical Instructor for CNCC.
I have gone to many classes and seminars concerning all aspects of Dentistry.
I am coming up on my 26 year anniversary working for Dr. Fenton. I have truly enjoyed my career. It has been a wonderful profession.
My husband is a Rancher and we have been married 28 years we have twin daughters that are 26. When not cleaning teeth or working on the ranch I enjoy traveling, sports, reading, playing board games, and am involved in my Church
Cheryl Ivy RDH
Cheryl Ivy enjoys the team atmosphere dentistry offers and the amazing staff she gets to work with. She received her Dental Assisting Certificate from Mesa College in 1985 and practiced chair side assisting for three years in Rangely, Colorado. While living in Rangely, she decided to take advantage of the Dental Hygiene Program at Colorado Northwestern Community College and completed her degree in 1991. After moving to Craig in 1994 with her husband Preston and two boys Billy and Brian, she started working part-time for various dentists in Craig and Steamboat until she began a permanent position at Dr. Fenton's in 1999. She was active with the Northwest Dental Coalition for many years and taught dental education at various schools in Moffat and Routt County as needed during Children's Dental Health month every February. She considers her patients to be her friends and truly cares not only about their dental health but overall health and well being. Outside the office she enjoys other activities including: walking, volleyball, golf, camping, reading, playing with grandkids, cooking nice meals for her family and serving her Lord Jesus Christ.
Lyndi Smith RDH
Lyndi Smith is a Dental Hygienist in Dr. Neal Fenton's office. She started full time May 2014. She received her Dental Hygiene degree form Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely Colorado. She graduated from CNCC in 2003 and has worked in Steamboat and Craig over the past 12 years. She has lived in Craig since 1987. Married her adoring husband Opie Smith in 2012. She has been involved in many volunteer positions in the community also as a child was in girl scouts and 4-H. She stays busy on her days off helping with church activities. Lyndi's family lives in Craig also, she has a younger brother and sister. Lyndi loves spending time with family and friends.
